Ruakura Inland Port (Hamilton) has been officially opened on the third of August 2023.

The Inland Port is a Joint Venture between Tainui Group Holdings and Port of Tauranga limited with Quality Marshalling proud to be appointed site manager and operator.

The Ruakura Inland Port is a key element of the Tainui tribes large Ruakura Superhub development and offers importers and exporters fast and efficient rail connections to move cargo through both Port of Tauranga and Ports of Auckland.

Currently QM have two Omega Top Lifters on site and staff from the QM Tauranga CT site are supporting this operation in the start-up phase. There are a number of new customers in the Ruakura logistics business precinct including Kmart and Maersk that will quickly see this operation grow.
